Take a flight to San Jose, the capital of Costa Rica at 06:30 in the morning, and arrive at San Jose, the capital of Costa Rica at 14:45 pm local time. After completing the immigration procedures, the tour guide will welcome the guests to visit the National Theater built in 1897 and visit the old town of San Jose. After dinner, transfer to hotel for rest.

DAY 02, 2020/04/19

San Jose – Poas Volcano – Coffee Plantation – Falls Park – San Jose

 

After breakfast at the hotel, visit Poas Volcano. It is the largest intermittently erupting active volcano in the world and one of the famous active volcanoes in Costa Rica. There are 2 craters on the top of the peak. Standing on the main crater of the volcano, you can smell the sulfur gas that the volcano emits continuously. The other is a volcanic lake formed by rainwater, with a pH value close to 0, making it one of the most acidic lakes in the world. After that, visit the well-known coffee factory brand DOKA coffee garden. Under the guidance of the narrator, you can learn about the planting, harvesting, roasting and packaging of coffee. There are also different flavors of coffee in the store for tourists to try. Finally, head to Waterfall Park (La Paz), and start visiting after lunch. You can enjoy the first and very special white waterfall in the park. In addition, you can also visit the ecological butterfly garden, insect hall, snake hall, frog hall, etc. in the park. Have the opportunity to get up close and personal with toucans. After dinner, transfer to hotel for rest.

San Jose – Arenal Volcano Hot Springs Area

 

After breakfast, we visit one of the most popular attractions in Colombia: Arenal Volcanic Hot Springs. Arrange lunch at a local restaurant, and then stay at a hot spring hotel to eliminate fatigue in the natural hot springs in the hotel. There are hot spring pools with different temperatures for you to choose from. Settling your mood in the hot spring will make you unforgettable forever. Overnight at the hotel in the hot spring area, arrange buffet.

Arenal Volcano Hot Springs Area - San Jose

Then head to the Arenal Volcano Observation Deck to see the true face of the volcano. Return to San Jose after lunch. DAY 05, 22 April 2020

San Jose City Tour - Vancouver

After breakfast, start the city sightseeing tour, visit the most famous museums, parks and historical places in Costa Rica. First of all, go through the Metropolitan Park of La Sabana, known as the "lung of the capital", and come to the Rohrmoser Residential area to visit the Pope's embassy. Enjoy a delicious lunch and shop for exquisite handicrafts at Plaza Emeralda. After lunch, head to San Jose Airport and take the 15:45 flight back to Vancouver.

Arrive in Vancouver

 

The flight arrived in Vancouver at 00:20 in the morning, ending the pleasant journey

o   Round-trip air ticket departing from Vancouver to San Jose, Costa Rica (including one piece of free checked baggage)

o   Hotel accommodation, two people share a room as standard

o   Meals specified in the itinerary (breakfast is provided by the hotel, local delicacies will be arranged for lunch and dinner, and Chinese food will be given priority in some places if conditions permit)

o   44-30 days before departure, 50% of the tour fare will be deducted
